He issued such directives while presiding over a meeting of the officers of nations building departments, District Government Hyderabad here at Circuit House Hyderabad on Saturday. He also approved the bypass alignment proposed from Hatri to Usman Shah Gee Hurhi for linking National Highway to HyderabadMirpurkhas Expressway, the project which has been taken in hand by the provincial government.
He directed the officers concerned to negotiate with the landlords and finalise the matters about land acquisition with them within three months so that the work on Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas dual carriage expressway project is started at the earliest.
The Additional Chief Secretary Development also directed the officers that the scheme required for repair and re-construction work of Shaikh Bhirkio road be made part of the Ghulam Shah Kalhoro Flyover Scheme and implemented at the earliest.
He also directed the officers to prepare scheme for repair and rehabilitation of Shahbaz Building Hyderabad .Expressing his apprehension over the deteriorated condition of government quarters in Peon Colony Hyderabad due to old-age and other reasons, the Additional Chief Secretary Development invited the proposals from the authorities concerned for providing better residential facilities to the lower grade employees with the replacement of these quarters.
However, he directed the officers for removing encroachment and erecting compound wall around the area to prevent the further encroachment. The District Co-ordination Officer Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri, Project Director Hyderabad Development Package Syed Sarfraz Shah, Project Director HyderabadMirpurkhas Expressway Project Syed Manzoor Shah, Project Director Bhitshah Beautification Project Shafiq-ur-Rehman Paracha and other officers of nations building departments and district government Hyderabad attended the meeting.
